It's all done! We decorated the inside and the outside of our house on Thanksgiving...normally we go out to the movies, but this year we decided to get a head start and just enjoy ourselves, so the whole family pitched in and we were done in no time. It looks great and we can enjoy it now for a month or so.

Decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving is part of the tradition for my family. I look forward to it all year long! We spend two days decorating inside and out while munching on Thanksgiving leftovers. It's my favorite 3 days of the year!
Some people think decorating early is "rushing the season", But I think it's more like blending it together and making it all one big Holiday Season. It makes it even better when family comes for Thanksgiving and stay to help decorate the tree for Christmas! Especially because everyone lives so far apart and we can't all get together for both holidays.
