We met someone and we're sexually attracted to that person. So we date, get married, have babies. Now we need food, shelter & clothing so we have to work. We need a car to go to work. We need to relax so we go on vacations. We retire from work and then we die. And it all started with sex. Am I being too simplistic that we're in this thing called "life" because it all started with being sexually attracted to someone? What are your thoughts on this?

The human race is made up of individuals. Sexual desire is a strong motivator, but it is only one of many human motives.

It would often seem that way, wouldn't it? But then that does not explain homosexual people or people who have little interest in sex. There are such people, and some people never marry. I suppose it could be a reason for some people; yes. Others find their own reasons for living. But one must work to live whether one has babies or not!

i don't think we just marry for sex.but if sex is good it helps a lot to overcome the problems pf the daily life.in some way or another it comforts u and attaches u to ur mate.so u can try to help and bare.if it's bad,no doubt things will not go so well.u'll be nervous,seeking,and u'll feel something missing.sex between lovers is a way of understanding,sharing and caring.sex is energy,desire,mood,and above everything,,,sex is love..and one can't live without love.

Sex is a very small part of life and you even outgrow it sometime .If you met and married some one based on sex ,you screwed up.

Well the ONLY reason we are here today is someone, somewhere had sex....
Its the only way to get here so I would say its pretty big in the importance department!
