that's a tough one, all I can tell ya is it's probably a tapered thread (pipe thread) I know what your talking about having worked on a few hogs in my day. a good solution would be to take the petcock to a hardware store and in pluming look for a fitting with identical threading probably fine treads as apposed to corse treads GOOD LUCK keep the rubber on the ground!
