When we went to Sydney, Australia, we did not want to return home.... That's really cool. We also went to the Great Barrier Reef on that trip.....
Hong Kong is an amazing city... WOW!
We spent 5 days driving around southern Scotland... that was a cool trip. We visited 16 old castles. We just followed the maps. That was fun.
The Amtrak ride from Seattle to Minnesota is really cool. Try that in the early spring and see Yellowstone and Glacier National Park.
There is a TON to see in Denver, Colorado. Spend a few days downtown, but then plan some time near the outskirts of the city. Late Spring and Early Fall are great for this trip. This is a great UNCROWDED trip.
If you don't mind crowds, then visit San Francisco. Stay downtown at the St. Francis Hotel for total CLASS. But plan to stay at other places in the area to escape the crowds. The SF Zoo is awesome among zoos. Of course, there is Muir Woods, Golden Gate and so many other sights that you will want to rent a car.
Naturally, New York City is among the hot spots on our planet. You can easily loose yourself for a month in the Big Apple. Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Empire State Building, Times Square and the tour at the United Nations are among the many full day activities that you can do in New York. But BOOK your Broadway show several months in advance, so you get great seats. You do not need a car in New York City. Learn about the city streets, subways and buses on your first day. 5 blocks to cross avenues is not a long walk. 10 blocks down the avenues, crossing the streets is not a long walk either. But wear comfortable shoes....
Of course, I live in Connecticut. Visit during the 3rd and 4th weeks of October and see our fall colors. We have many interesting sights to see. Our two casinos are TOPS. Visit http://www.cruisingconnecticut.com

Rome and Pompeii were my favorite. Venice was very cool, but more crowded than Rome. You can also take trains, or bus tours to other countries, if you have the time. Austria is not far from Venice, nor is Germany. If you like history, Europe is a great place to go. Definitely, Rome was the most awesome.

Go to Europe. There you can see and experience many different cultures without having to travel too far. Other than getting there that is.

I thoroughly agree, it fairly is somewhat chilly precise right here, regardless of the easy certainty that our friends around the sea do not think of of we are able to justify that declare! solid now, i could probably bypass someplace unique like Japan, or Hawaii, or perhaps sail around the Greek islands, purely cos i've got have been given consistently had to. My first decision could mechanically have been England, yet i'm doing that contained in the time of November besides, yay me!!
