yes, heard it on the radio this morning! What a tragic accident. I think there will be lots of questions requiring answers from the local authorities.

This story is so tragic and as i mother you cant begin to think how the parents will be thinking???? It will be all the usual what ifs???? All i know is that they will never forgive themselves and always feel partly responsible its a natural instinct. I hope that they can find reassurance that their daughter has managed to survive against the odds this far and this is a good sign and a little fighter like that will continue to do so too!!! With the help of god and all that hold any compassion please let the little mite get over this and lead as normal life as possible and her parents remain strong and support her through all!!!
Bless her and all that life now throws at her!

i know this is going to sound harsh but instead of bleating on about the "farepack victims" on here, this is the type of people that our thoughts and donations should go to, this is so very sad, and if she does live it is likely she will be in some sort of pain for the rest of her life, i really feel for her parents, family and friends, i hope a miracle happens for the little angel! xxxxxxxx good luckxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

God Bless that little girl i sincerley hopes she recovers.
Tears in my eyes just thinking about it.

My father had a baby brother, when he was 2 years old he pulled a boiling kettle off one of the old fashion fire/ ranges all over himself and died of severe scalding, you can never be too vigilant with kids around, but this story is tragic

First time I've heard this - but poor kid being scalded by boiling water. Cots shouldn't really be kept by water pipes, as they get hot - what if she'd actually touched them?
