i started blowing off just after my hubby complained his tummy was emitting an extraordinary selection of sounds and smells, he said, oh there must have been something wrong with that food we ate last night love...? i turned to him aghast and said, what, with MY food, how dare you! I then explained what i'd observed which was, when one person farts in company, it generally triggers off other peopele's farting shortly thereafter. He looked at me like i was making it up, sorta like the same look Santa gives when you tell him you were a good girl all year? And i said to him, i'm no scientist, i can't explain it, but it's like...a chemical reaction, started by your bottom? am i WRONG? it can't be possible, i'm NEVER wrong!

I've heard about some interesting phenomena regarding farting and lit matches, but that's about it. I know of some wonderful reactions which could fall into the laws of physics, when a firm hand or a feather is applied to a bottom!

lie on your back, legs in the air,, with a lighter under your rear - when you are about to break wind, flick the lighter, and you will see a chemical reaction starting from your bottom as the vapour ignites.

Just dont leave the lighter lit for too long!

Seems pretty unlikely to me.. if you're a couple and both eat the same food then its more likely that you're just mixed the wrong type of things.. lots of vegetables create lots of gas.. Brocolli and Brussels particularly!

to characteristic directly to pisgahchemist's effective element, The regulation of COE is going extra to propose that there is a regulation of conservation of mass-ability as argued in nuclear physics. The alleviation in mass after the reaction, suggesting the mass of goods is below mass of reactants, means that the mass could "materialize" as yet another style, as a effect ability. ability would be released interior the reaction: Mass of reactants (greater) => Mass of goods (decrease) + ability in case you pick to understand extra, the mass difference (or the mass illness) would be used to calculate the ability using Einstein's nicely-prevalent equation: E = (mass illness) x c^2 the place c is the fee of sunshine: 3.0 x 10^8. wish I helped.

its not your bum that starts a chemical reaction, the reaction starts in your stomach when food enters and the resulting reaction are generally formed into flatulence(odourless or otherwise)
