People see it as more authentic. Rapping came from the streets of the ghetto so any white rapper like any white blues musician has to imitate the source (the "best") to seem any good.

cuz the rap culture promotes this attitude and minorities (white rappers) try to blend in with the majority (black rappers).

Hip hop is a culture,the clothes,the jewelery,the slang.White people have grown up in this culture as well.Times are changing.
