So, think about this using logic-

If you pee a lot when it's "that time of month" does your period go by faster/bleeding stop? Because you're peeing out all that blood, right?

No. The mentrual flow comes from the uterus...urine comes from the urinary system. They are separate and peeing a lot does not make a period end quicker (IF ONLY!!!!)...;

I know why you might think this is the case. When you are on your period however, it isn't a "certain amount of blood" that has been stored that now needs to come out. It is actually a "bed" that was prepared for a possible baby to nestle itself in. This is being built up during the first half of your cycle, and is broken down during the second half. The hormone needed to keep the "bed" intact lowers in your blood, and over the time of approximatly 7 days it will be excreted through your vagina. So sitting on the toilet peeing, will not help, unfortunatly.

Peeing doesn't slow or make your period go by faster-it doesn't even affect your period. Because you bladder is what causes you to pee and your uterus is waht cause you to have a period. The blood comes from the shedding of your uterus/losing eggs and the pee come from the liquid you intake. They are not related.Since they are two different things, there are separte areas where it comes out of.

no, you do not pee out the blood really, pee comes from a separate place (the bladder) and the blood comes from the uterus. thats why you can stiill pee while having a tampon in. Usually comes out at its own pace and theres not much you can do to control it

I understand what you are saying. I guess it's because when you pee use losen your muscles and it tends to come out more. Like when you first get up in the morning, you are very relaxed and it seems like it takes forever to be able to get off the toilet. Being relaxed or relaxing your muscles to empty your bladder I think has a lot to do with it. It will relax you uterin muscles too and therefor it comes out more.

Hmm, i dun think so..Cox the 'place' where the pee is released is different from the 'place' where 'that thing' is flowing out..The two 'places' are somewhere near to each other but not the same.

Ur urethra is just under the clitoris, very close to the vagina. When u pee, it just looks like ur peeing blood, but it is really just washing off the blod that is already there.

Two different functions the Uterus and the urethra are different organs. Uterus is for having children and urethra come out of the bladder.

That is so far from the truth! First of all your period fluids comes from your uterus and your urine comes from your bladder totally two different areas!

You do not pee out of your vagina, you pee out of your urethra. You bleed out of your vagina. Someone needs an anatomy class!
