It depends!
The best thing to do is to turn it off, and then dry it off with a hairdryer on warm setting.
This works best if you dismantle it first.

Important thing is to remove the battery asap, then leave the back open and keep the phone for a few days in a warm dry place. You may be lucky. NB my local trader offers water damage repair(www.koolphones.com)
Channel 5's "Gadget show" researched this a year ago and found that fresh water was survivable, sea water less so.

Your significant reveal is a liquid crystal reveal and extremely high priced. usually while moisture damages the reveal on a cell telephone it somewhat is in basic terms too previous due. The liquid crystal reveal connects to the main perfect board with the aid of a connector and flat ribbon twine, this connector while moist corrodes substantially and the wires are so effective they get brittle and break. A restoration facility would be waiting to bathe away the moisture injury yet usually there is not any wish. i'm sorry they are high priced.
