Put the device on USB. Go to "My Computer", find the device icon, right click on it and then click on format. If you format your drive the virus will be deleted but you will loose all your personal data on it.

Use any anti virus program to get rid of the virus, or format your USB Flash Drive for once and that will solve the problem

Use any good anti-virus programme (for example AVG), and ask it to scan selected areas (in this case, drive E: or whatever the USB flash drive letter is).

Hopefully you have Virus software installed on your PC. If not, you can go to http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ and use this utility. You will be able to specify the flash drive by choosing "browse".
Note: This utility will only remove a specific list of virii. It's best to use virus software for this.

You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html
Then scan thedrive.
