I'm 25 weeks, and want to watch Saw 3.
I have heard that its not good to watch horror movies in cinemas, as it is loud and the screams/voices could disturb the baby.

My friends doctor didn't recommend her to go to the cinema because of the sound - it's too loud for a baby, especially that kind of movie - scary one, everyone around would scream, be afraid. Of course it's up to you, i just said what our doctor said.

Good luck

Since babies (even in the womb) can be suseptible to your feelings, going to a scary movie where you might inadvertedly feel distressed isn't a good idea since your baby is likely to pick up on those feelings. Going to a movie while you're pregnant is not completely out of the question, though. I spoke with my doctor when I was pregnant, and he pointed out that there's a lot of padding between your baby's ears and the noises you and I hear. Loud noises at the cinema aren't the problem. Hope this helps!

there is not any injury in getting scared once you're pregnant. I watched The final Exorcism at approximately 24 weeks and watched Case 39 at approximately 32 weeks alongside. My toddler is totally healthful! There are a good distance too many different issues pregnant women are not allowed to do. I wasn't even going to characteristic "getting scared" to that record.

There is not any harm in getting scared whilst you are pregnant. I watched The final Exorcism at about 24 weeks and watched Case 39 at about 32 weeks alongside. My youngster is perfectly healthy! There are a long way too many different things pregnant ladies aren't allowed to do. I wasn't even going to add "getting scared" to that record.

The only problem with seeing a horror movie during pregnancy is your heartrate, which may go up during the scary parts. This isn't really going to effect the baby, but it will feel that you are tense. If you are worried about the baby feeling your tense, then I wouldn't go. But the baby is also going to feel this anytime anything happens that makes you worried. I think it's safe to go if you wish to go (but go ahead and say it's because of the baby if you are using it as a way out of seeing it.) :)

I would think the baby would be bothered more by your emotions than the noise. If you get really frightened by these movies.....even just for a while...the baby may experience that too. Will it be harmful? Depends on how much and for how long.

Your body is designed to care for that child even under some pretty extreme conditions. Just use good judgment in everything you do and you will do fine.

You should be fine to go to whatever movie you would like. I don't know why it wouldn't be safe. Your baby hears what goes on around you all day every day... why not go to the cinema?

The noise is muffled by all the fluid surrounding the baby. Nothin bad will happen.
