The song is called 'This woman's work', and features on the album 'The Sensual World', originally released in late 89/early 90

Yep - just agreeing with the first answerer The Sensual World is the album This Womans Work is on. It has been one of my favourites for years, very haunting and emotional.

The song is also featured in the movie "She's Having a Baby", circa 1980s and, I believe, was on the soundtrack.

One of my fave albums.
I love literally all the songs on that album!!
