eventually, they will stop selling VHS tapes/players.
Discs are replacing all forms of information/media, so there is a high chance that VHS will become one of those cash crops when everyone has thrown them away and decides that they were a bit more reliable. As for Disney.....try to get the original vhs, because the "newly re realeased" ones arent too hot.

Only to a collector, now that the DVDs are out.
I remember when VHS of Little Mermaid was going ofr $400 on eBay.
i was able to buy a mint copy VHS for $25 recently

Old walt disney vhs tapes are selling on eBay, but not as much as DVDs. I'm adding a link for you to check completed listings. You'll have to log into eBay to view it. You might want to sell them in lots.

No, VHS breaks down, even under the best conditions and you can bet that Disney will re-release all movies on DVD eventually.
No one is really interested in Vinyl unless it has not been released on CD or is very rare and probably will never be on CD.
Most people prefer quality over age unless they are die hard collectors.

only if they are still in the original package. Like the first copy of The Little Mermaid. On the original cover looking at the sand castle in the background, you can see penis's. If they are unopened, then yes.

I doubt it.....normally elcetronic equipment hardly become antiques... they are normally just thrown away...... So, basically, the DVD collection or the latest versions would be more valuable to ppl.... You could still keep them with you for sentimental reasons or else, if ur REALLY lucky enough....like the guy above me said, an obscure collector will come along ur way and take it from you! :)
