Hello,

I am still looking for the title and artist of an 80's song which has really got me stumped. It plays occasionally on a retro radio station - I contacted the station - no reply.

The artist sounds just like Christoper Cross. I believe the song to be from the 80's. It could have been one of those one hit wonders.

Lyrics:

The chorus is " Boys Will Be Boys " and then it's something like:

Whatever Happened To Boys And Summer
Boys Will Be Boys

It also references something about leaving a porch light on. It is not Don Henley's - Boys of Summer.

I have checked all the lyrics websites with no luck. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

It is David Roberts - boys of autumn. He used to do session work for the band Toto and I went to High school with him in the late '70's in North York, ON. The man is a very talented piano player and luricist.

If you google boys will be boys several show up. One is by the Backstreet Boys, one by Ordinary boys and a few more. None mention summer.

Hi...I've seen your other postings...I love 80's music and I'm really curious to know what song this is...I really can't think of anything!

P.S. This is the song good deeds mentioned...check it out, there's a one minute sample...I think he might be right!
