If you're the logical type, then Man was not invented. Man is the result of millions of years of organisms trying to adapt in the best way to their environment.

Personally, and i can only prove this from the Bible, and from a few scientific facts, I believe that God "invented" human kind. When he breathed life into human kind, he crowned his creation act with the best creation yet. Until we sinned.
