Thought is constant, infinite.
If thought stopped, nothing would exist.
Therefore, "nothing" would be constant and infinite.
The "thought" of nothing already exists.
As thought is constant, every thought is also constant.
Therefore "nothing" is infinite. An infinity of nothing exists.
As "nothing" is understood, everything is nothing?

Missing the point: Yes of course nothing is something, it is infinite? The thought of nothing is infinite? Yes it is something: A thought!!!!!!

Petertimo i find it hard to believe that sex exists in your life. Why do you assume that i dont already take crack? And are you not bored of being bored yet? You do know you can pay for sex, then you can pass your boredom onto a prostitute.

Yes
You can deny everything but you can't deny your thinking.Thought is the only thing that exists truely.
You can deny your chair
You can deny yourself
But you can't deny you are thinking
You think therefore you are .
"Cogito ergo sum" as Mr Descartes told us
This shows that all thought is constant infinite and is theonly thing that truely exists
However-
- The thought of nothing exists but the thought of everything also exists so surely everything isnt nothing as the thought of everything is constant and infinite, just as is the thought of nothing, as all thought is constant and infinite. The thought of everything is something.Of course something will become nothing without thought.
.
So in this hypothetical situation are we relying upon thought stopping, If thought is still entact then so are the perceptions and existance of everything being something. Therefore shouldnt the statement read . If thought stopped everything is nothing?

Nothing is always infinite. There is no other way to measure it. Saying you have an infinite of nothing means nothing except that you have some nothing. Thought sits in the same place as nothing it can not be measured it is more of an either it is there or it isn't there and it doesn't make a difference if it is infinite because if it isn't then it doesn't exist. Just because thought of nothing exists somewhere there is always thought of something somewhere else. And since thought is infinite as long as there is some thought it is infinite. Multiple infinities can exist together due to their lack of mass.

You're making a vast and unprovable assumption that thought has existed since the birth of the universe. In such a case, there would have to have existed an external observer to the universe as the universe had not yet come into being.
Unless you make the philosphical/logical leap of introducing an invisible sky wizard (god, allah, flying spaghetti monster), your argument falls apart.
You're also making an assumption that has been proven false by physical experiment: that all reference frames are constant. They're not. This has been verified by experiements testing relativity theories.

You should make yourself a nice cup of tea and drink it while watching nature. And don't think. It isn't really possible, but try it anyway. You can sort of become nature if you absorb yourself fully. And in that moment thought becomes the untrue, the whatever we make of truth, rather than be content with just experiencing it. I have a feeling that we deeply desire a return to this kind of innocence.
The mind is a remarkable tool, but it believes its own stories, and sometimes we believe we are our mind. Actually we can be far more. We can exist somewhere between "I" and "you" in a kind of "us" place which is pretty cool.

Thought is constant. Ideas are finite, limited by their condition or purpose. Should ideas stop then thought would become nothing.
The thought of nothing makes nothing an idea as to a place to be filled. There by making nothing everything in an idealistic sense.

I think I'm confused already, but here's my take:
Nothing is permanent except change (Voltaire).
Thought is constantly evolving and changing...
therefore, thought is infinite...
(until our brain machine dies and there is no longer a source of power. And this is definately NOT a proof I'd attempt elsewhere... it's what we invest in the supposition of a causal relationship that makes the connection meaningful. It's an idea, unproven, and not static.) Best Wishes... ~ Andrea

the infinite of 'something' also exists
thus the thought is (according your sayings) constant.
the thought of 'something' exists
everything is 'something'.
I share different point of view on thought.
Thought is constant, infinite just for the time being.
The next second is a different constant infinite just for the time being etc.

Truly thought is infinite but you say nothing is also, I beg to differ. What is nothing? If you have zero you have nothing but nothing is not something, cannot be proven nor shown so the thought of nothing cannot exist because the thought of nothing is something.

a slippery slope? just because thought is constant and infinite, doesnt mean if it stopped, nothing would exist. there are many things that do not even think!

I too have taken that drug.
You assume that we are the controlling factor in the universe. The universe and all in it is real and will exist long after we are gone and our thoughts with us.
