you asked, so here's your answer..it's yes. It means that you have not taken the time to train yourself. First you need to have a reason to achieve (knowing that you will be supporting yourself your entire life and others too will be depend on you is probably enough motivation, and you will want to have nice things in life), and then read up on motivation, take courses in motivation, get interested, get out there and become part of society.

I'm sort of the same way.

I'm not jealous of people who want to achieve but there is just nothing in life I want. No big home, no expensive equipment, not even a relationship (they result in nothing but headaches down the road). Just an apartment room, some music, and a computer to browse on is all I pretty much want desire in life.

I could if I wanted too (have a 3.4 GPA in college now) but no real reason to pursue my career other than stack up a whole lot of cash so I can have the luxury of paying for some expensive medical bills someday (hey, we all get old) or if I ever am stupid enough to get in a long-term relationship :)

I don't know if that makes us weak if were not motivated or inspired by anything. Maybe not greedy? I wouldn't say weak, though.

I'm not sure it makes you weak, but it will guarantee you a life of low wages and possibly some economic despair; not to mention the inherent low self-esteem that comes with watching others do so much better than yourself.

Being competititve is a good thing, it brings out the best in all of us, whether you succeed or fail, it just makes you stronger.

It seems ridiculous that you are jealous of others, but can't seem to even try doing it yourself.
