It's an easy accusation to make (that a journalist is being biased) when someone disagrees with the way a reporter frames a story. Although they try to be impartial observers, all reporters are biased because they're all human beings. The best that can be done is to report ALL sides of an issue, try not use subjective language and not let the editoris write subjective headlines, and let the readers decide for themselves.

Regarding your question: Individual stories need to be evaluated on an individual basis. Are some stories objective? Of course! Are some stories biased? Of course they are! But it's up to the reader to search out as many stories as possible to develop a fully balanced story. No one story on any one issue is going to answer all the questions.

Some reporting is rife with personal bias. Like which stories certain reporters choose. Of course some reporting is as fair as possible.
