Its an okay game i Have it. if you go to a check point like your nearest McDonalds you can get a code and give it to people you who have the game so you can chat or move into the smae town or if your at a checkpoint with an I.D. code you can open the town gates to let any body come into your town but usually you can only do that if you have a connection in the place.
But if you dont have a code or friends with the game there are different things you can do like when you first start you get a job to pay for your house and if you don't save an annoying animal pops out f the ground and won't shut up about how you need to save and the speech gets longer every time you don't save.

I have some questions back then:
1) How old are you? This game will appeal to children under the age of 15, or maybe adults with alot of free time.
2) Do you like the idea of virtual pets? This is a virtual life game.. you need to maintain relationships, keep your town clean, and explore. This is not a game to play for 10 minutes a day.. its basically a role-play game geared toward the young teen crowd.
If you fit the description above, then yes... it is a great game.. I don't have the time to play it, but I have messed around with it for a few hours. I'd rather play Age of Empires.

It depends if you own animal crossing for the gamecube then i would say to not get it but i only own the DS version and i love it never gets old
