I sleep with a nightlight.

I usually have a very small night light going. I don't see well at ALL under the best of circumstances, so stumbling around in the dark with a full bladder or in an emergency is not my idea of a good time. For the record, I usually have music of some sort playing....just on a low volume.

I can sleep with the lights on, or even outdoors during the day. I wear a fishing hat pulled forward on my head so that the brim covers most of my face. That makes it dark enough that I can sleep.

I use a small night light to keep from tripping over things in the middle of the night when I have to answer the phone, or make a trip to the pottay.

We have a small nightlight to keep from stepping on cats in the dark (we have 2 black ones and a dark brown one)
