Sims 2 glitch?

Every once in a while when im playin the sims 2, all the windows on the house dissapear, but the frames on the windows are still there, and you can't delete or replace them.

What is going on??

if your on build mode you must have ur walls down, cuz that happens... but if ur on PLAY then IDK
