1. As the name itself suggests "Heart of the Ocean" Old Rose thinks better let the blue diamond rests where it truly belongs.... with the memory of Jack.
2. Obviouly Rose's.....since it was she who was telling the happening in the car.
3. Yes.....Remember it was Rose only who was still survived and those who were there in the final scene, were her real admirer. Many critics (including those in the inner circle of director James Cameron) think it was not a dream....but 100+ years old Rose dies in that very night when she drops the diamond in sea. Try to visualize that shot before hers ascending the steps....she is shown on cot....in deep sleep....actually dead....then her soul goes towards Jack's where it rests eternally.

1. Rose dropped the diamond into the ocean as a metaphor to sever her link with Cal and the demons of her past. She wanted to die doing the right thing by her and Jack. She lived her life her way. Every time she thought of selling it, she thought of Cal, and she didn't need or want his help.
2. The hand would've been Rose's as she climaxed sexually... she was a virgin in the movie and Jack was her first... and I think that was Jack's first time too.
3. No one knows whether she died or dreamed the finale except for James Cameron, the writer/director. He wanted an ambiguous ending, feeling that if the ending was in black and white it wouldn't be right...

1. Rose never wanted anyone to benefit from the neckalce. Plus her having it was a risk to someone finding out her assumed Identiy.
2. The hand in the window was Rose's. signaling that her and Jack had just made love.
3. When Rose is accending the stair case, she was walking toward the one man that she truely loved with all of her heart.
It is one of my all time favorite movies...

1. The gem was called "Heart Of The Ocean", and I think the underlying significance was that she had left the biggest part of her heart with Jack when he drown in the ocean. She dropped the gem, I think, as the last show of her love.
2. Rose's.
3. I think they were where they wanted to be, whether it was heaven, or just back where she left her heart.
