That has been hotly debated over the years, some religions believe in reincarnation, or embodying another living being after death. Others believe in heaven, as do I. Some think that when you die, you just die. It may never be known until it happens. But please, don't try and see what does happen too early. Let the time come when it comes. Good question by the way.

Our bodies waste away. Our energy of our soul and spirit go in to the spiritual dimension.. We are actually spiritual creatures on a brief earthly journey.
Our energy is gone when the body stops living. OUr aura and soul find peace in the creator. The mysterus of the universe will be made known to us.
In our limited brains we can't becing to understand the life ever after.

Its my belief that we to a place called 'Barzak'. Thats where all the souls of dead people are. Our souls stay there rtill the day of Judgement. On the day of judgement justice will be done and the evil will go to hell, and the good to heaven.

I'm not so egotistical as to believe that somehow we humans are so special that we get to go to magical fairy lands when we die while everything else just disolves back into the ecosystem.
I really wouldn't want to go to "paradise" afterward anyway. It would be completely boring. Add to this that everyone's idea of paradise is different, and you'd have one messed up afterlife.
I actually find it comforting that when we die, nothing else happens. It is literally the last sleep.

I believe we either go to Heaven or Hell but I used to believe before I got saved that when you die you jus die literally you lay in the ground and are shut off to the world then I thought about it and Heaven or Hell it a reasonable answer and as a Chrisitan I believe it's either Heaven or Hell and as a saved child of God I hope and pray that we all go there (Heaven).

To body is reduced to the natural materials from which it spawned and the spirit goes to a higher plain of existence, which I can't really say, Heaven or Hell, Purgatory, Limbo, or Hades or many others, no one can say, you just have to have faith.

This depends entirely on your definition of "we", "dead" and "go".
In any event, the answer is...there is no answer. I suggest you just remain calm and enjoy the ride until further notice.
