I have not bought any new clothing in many, many years-- I comb Thrift Shops, and there I find a lot of interesting stuff at ridiculously low prices. (Even periodic Clearance Sales ar even more ridiculous prices.) Some of it looks like it has been worn little or maybe not at all! It's a great way to have an extensive wardrobe for not very much money.

H & M has cute, trendy inexpensive clothing. Old Navy is another good place to get the type of clothing you have described. If you want name brand clothing, for less than full price check out TJ Maxx or Marshall's - they have really great stuff for incredible prices!! Happy shopping!!

I've been ordering from Chadwicks catalog until I found out that the same clothes are in Walmart. Other places to shop are K-Mart, Sears, Penneys, Ross, Marshalls, Target are all reasonable.

Online stores are more expensive as they add shipping and handling plus their own state tax. But if you do all your shopping there or say all your shopping at Walmart then things even out.

Check out stores that sell brand labels at clearance prices. We have one in the UK called TK Maxx. You can pick up, say, a Calvin Klein cashmere sweater for a fraction of the cost. Buy classic stuff, buy little and often.

Ross! I go there all the time! It has some "name" brands like Roxy for a fraction of the cost! The clearance section is the best; there's a lot of tops for just $5! And I once bought a Roxy jacket for $15!

Check to see if there is a Plato's Closet in your area. They are a consignment store that only takes current styles. A lot of stuff is under $10, and it has to be in good condition.
