Only few years ago it was introduced in some of the countries at high school level, to prevent unwanted pregnancy and heart burns cause because of the lack of knowledge.

But is it essential is a toss up.

However no knowledge is waste of time. The more correct/accurate knowledge is more important then street knowledge which may be in correct.

Good accurate knowledge will prevent deceases and miss understanding also.

because there is so much incorrect information spread around by those who do not know the facts.
Example: Using a condom prevents the spread of disease.
NO it does not, it may help, but there is still a risk of getting really bad stuff if you do not KNOW that your partner is clear, clean, responsible.
Google images of 'Genital warts' for an idea of what ids going around.
READ up on this before you ruin your sex life or that of your partner. Be smart.

There are people who say sex education induces to have sex. it may be true in some cases but not all the time. Controlling thyself reduces this problem.

education is information.... informed people aren't as prone to experiment. Teens and young adults need to know sex is about more than a good feeling!

Tell the truth, tell it early in their lives.

Be Blessed!
