i am not from PETA
or ne other organisation - just a girl who think cruelty to animals is completely wrong!! wud u want ur family to be skinned alive? or wud u want ur leg to be trapped in a trap set by fur hunters and r forced to chew ur own leg off?

we arent barbarics - we have soo much warm man made materials to wear - why do we need to be soo bckwrd?!

I think wearing fur is OK.
I understand your reasons for being against it but at the end of the day we are all carnivals.
Its our human nature to hunt and kill animals and all that is happening is that we are paying someone to do the job for us.
If we can kill for food why cant we kill for fur??

if the whole animal was put to good use for example; it was killed for food but instead of the fur being thrown away its made into a coat and it lived and was killed humanly,would it make this fur business more acceptable?
After all the main concerns that you raise was not the fact the animal was being killed but rather its habitation and the way it was killed.

I agree! It is terrible! However we eat their meat because we need to survive. What can we do? Personally, I need meat because of my iron deficiency. So, what is the problem with fur? You probably mean that it is not necessary to kill them because we can wear many other things. You're right, but, I don't know how feasible it is to neglect our health for the sake of animals. I respect them too and I feel pity when they get killed but then, I think "the survival of the fittest". At first, I didn't want to admit it-I thought there was always a choice- but, now I believe that maybe there is no other way.

I agree with you, I mean the lengths people go to dominate the world has become ridiculous...Threatening mother nature (and ruining habitats), playing God with every fiber of living organism existence (cloning and enhancements), killing off animals for selfish needs such as fur fashion...

O.M.G! I watched the video. It's so terrible what they do to get fur. I think it should be against the law everywhere to wear it! Then they'd need to stop killing innocent animals to get their fur from them. Why do they need to be so cruel? If they really need the fur then why not give the poor animals an injection.

Leather is a by product in the meat business. Fur comes from animals specially slaughtered for their pelts.

What is wrong with it? I only have a fur collar on a lambskin navy pilot's jacket, but such imbeciles as Pamela Anderson have no right to tell me what to wear. Worry about humans first and last! I don't agree with animal cruelty but i like leather shoes, jackets, purses,leather seats and coaches, and i eat meat and fish. I mean i need those things for my daily life i believe people should be educated about the painless ways to take the lives of those animals .

to the answer above... yes it is worse than leather, leather is a by product of food....fur is not.How would you like me to tie up your pet, hack at its leg to get a good start on the skin, pull down slowly until the skin was off, ( still alive at this stage as well!!), then throw your beloved pet on a skip with other bleeding ,weak and skinned animals, some are still alive.this is unnecessary and is old fashioned especially as we have really good fake fur. lets skin your nuts and see if it hurts half as much shall we arsehole?!!
