meaning.... if your house is overly cluttered, does that mean you could have a lot of clutter in your brain?

if that makes any sense! :)

You may have a point there! I mean, after all, doesn't the car you drive or the clothes you wear describe you? So I think that it would describe one's mindset as to how or why their homes may be cluttered as you mention. Good observation and theory! I know an older lady who is living this way and some would consider her a "pack rat". She is the sweetest lady around town though! But I think her mind is full of history of her past and present! Thanks!

Cluttered home, is a need to have possessions.

There could be a correlation, and it has to do with releasing things, and making order out of chaos. Interesting question.
