Who is providing the transportation costs to Jamaica? If you mom is, then your dad should let you go. Tell him you'll spend Christmas with him next year, and that this year you can celebrate together when you return from Jamaica. If your dad has to pay for the transportation, perhaps he can't afford it. Talk to him about it in a mature way, and try to understand his point of view as well. If you still aren't able to go to Jamaica this Christmas, send your mom a beautiful Christmas card with some pictures of you and a long letter. Tell her you'll try your hardest to spend Christmas with her next year. Good luck, hope you get to go.
