For me,true happiness is like making others happy. If a friend of mine is not too glad about a beautiful new day that God has given us I make it a point to know what's wrong and try making my friend happy. My silly and dumb jokes make her happy and this gives me immense happiness. Greeting teachers with a smile at any time and helping them relax is my style of being happy. What about you? Do let me know.
I think I need to specify 1 more thing, my name MISHA itself means SMILE. :-)
Take care.

TRUE happiness is...a choice. From reading the bible, I see a lot of the time God is telling us to be content and joyful which leads me to believe that it's no outside influence that causes our emotions. It's a choice we make to be happy/sad/angry. Sure there's excitement and shock that can "spark" different emotions but ultimately, we decide how we respond to the world around us as part of God's gift of free will.

Gee, I think that's contentment, and that's all I ever aspire to.
Happiness is a fleeting experience, attached to a specific event, and the more of them, the better. But it's the relative well-being in-between that gives life its overall texture.
I'm content with content, awaiting my next happy occurrence!

Everything what you mentioned is nice and I agree with you. I love my dog and just think about being there for him since he doesn't have a playmate a home. I can't wait to get home to him and taking him for a walk and just playing with him. I'm sad when I leave him behind to go to work or town. I always make it up to him! Thanks!
