try some social clubs or take up an interest or hobby all i can say is the more you get out the more chance you have of making new friends, if you have tried chat rooms why don't you try the citizens band radio, or have a word at your health clinic and see if there any mother and toddler groups going or parenting classes for single mums I'm sure you will meet someone there in the same boat as you just wishing they had a friend as well, good luck and hope everything goes well with your baby

There is bound to be local clubs or societies in the area. Gardening, wine making, tennis and other sports. Think about your own real interests and then look for the appropriate one to attend. You don't have to drink alcohol when you go to a pub so if you like pubs get there.

If you can, get a job at a coffee shop. Or a local market. You would be suprised and the fun people you can meet. Just step out of your shell and remember.....EVERYONE is the new person once.

I don't know I haven't got any friends either.
Cheer up they will probably be like buses and three will come at once.
