You don't mind if I poke fun at myself, do you? I just write novels... How does a storyteller reign it all in?

I'll sit here and wait for a magical answer. When I get going on human relationships and how blindsided we can get when we are the subject I could go on forever. I always figure the short, pithy answer can use a longer, pithier answer because they are such fun to write. One poor kid found my answer to be "best" but said, "please don't write such long answers for me." Good advice but hard to do. I just go with the flow and my fingers move as if they are a hover craft. So, let me read what others say. May all our words become tight and cheap.

If the questions beckons a short answer, then I shall oblige. Often times a bit more information is called for.

What I absolutely cannot tolerate are questions with multiple spelling errors and incoherent ideas.

Stick to the main points and keep it to one fairly short paragraph (2 if the paragraphs are really short). Don't be redundant or overly descriptive. People's eyes tend to glaze over if they have to scroll too far to read the whole answer. Keep the novels for you publisher, lol.

That depends on the question of course but if the question requires a lengthy answer, one has to learn how to sysynctizing the answer and that sometimes can be very difficult
