Although there are some people who just don't care, in my experience people who frequently go barefoot are less likely to have problems with the appearance or smell of their bare feet than people who do so seldom or never.
Some people just feel much more personally centred with bare feet, while others are just the opposite. I remember vaguely once reading an essay by an author ruminating on just this subject. The author and one of her brothers were almost always barefoot at home; two of their three siblings almost never, and the fifth about half the time. It struck her as one of those never-entirely-explicable preferences.

I do! both barefoot, or with socks AND slippers. i will under no circumstances positioned on socks on my own, in the different case if appears like i'm wiping the flooring down. yet yeah, in many situations barefoot. I do it because this is clean and yeah, that's a family contributors rule. it is also a demonstration of appreciate for me. for my section, donning shoes interior is dirty and uncomfortable, and that i rather can't. Even in somebody else's homestead, the position shoes are allowed. Plus, i love feeling the chilly floor lower than my ft. :D

Comfort is probably the biggest aspect of going barefoot, and not everyone has ugly feet, but in the confines of our own homes, I'd think this would be a non-issue. Odor typically isn't a factor unless there's a lot of dirt in the house that would stick to our feet, and I'd like to think most of us would clean house on a fairly regular basis--not to mention bathing regularly, including our feet. But as far as our feet being one of the dirtiest parts of our body, does it really matter, unless of course we use our feet to eat with?

Sometimes socks can cut of your circulation and it feels better to take them off. As for the smell, yes there are things to put on them to make them smell better. I for one don't see feet as ugly and liken them to hands or eyes or any other part of the body. Oh and by the way riverofmy, you don't wear anything but shoes, wow I haven't seen you out running around lately, what a babe!!!

I have a no shoes in the house rule so if people are wearing sandals then they are barefoot. But if you come in wearing shoes and socks you should just walk around in socks.

I learned to walk barefoot. Those little baby shoes weren't invented yet, so barefeet are just more comfortable to me. I took my shoes off in collge, too. (no dress code) I work outside in my yard in all kinds of weather and I'd rather be cold than have my feet cramped.

Freedom ( of great value ) my dear, to be barefoot or not and that is the beauty of it .
To be free to do what pleases us the most ( without offending anyone ) ,imagine a moment when their are rules to force people or in other words to coerce them to wear constricting things on their feet .

Perhaps because is a slightly different sense of reality. I once worked at a nudist camp and learned that we all hide behind our clothes. We use them as a front.
