Demy Official' (D.O.) letter, used by Government Officials, in India. It is partly official and partly personal. Which means, a letter sent to anyone under personal Letter Head, by a, Senior Official, under his name and designation, instead of, for Government of India. It is also treated as official letter, for all. In private sector, generally, all letters go under the signing authority's name.
