Why does she sing about them and put them in her videos?

Personally I like that she puts them in her videos. They have such unique style. very cool. I mean come on, its better than putting half naked chicks everywhere. If she was to stick to the norm it would be pretty boring.

In my opinion, she kind of treats them like pets or something. The way she describes them in her songs seems so, inferior to her, I suppose you could say. However, she just loves their style, culture, and looks, so I suppose in that perspective it's different. Gwen is probably just trying to express her love of Japanese culture by incorporation the Harajuku girls. It still seems like she is belittling them or something, but I don't know. If in her songs she didn't say "dress them up" like their dolls, and some other lyrics like that, then it wouldn't be so bad at all. Overall, I like the Harajuku Girls-they add a nice touch to Gwen's music. But I'm glad to hear she doesn't add anymore lyrics that make them souns like her pets or dolls anymore.

harajuku is a way of life in japan that inspired gwen to do the album LAMB. harajuku girls are basically those types of girls that spend a lot of time at the mall in japan all dressed up in that crazy gear. she liked how much they stand out and how different the style is she decided to make it a part of LAMB.

She's talked about it in a few of her interviews. Hariku girls are an inspiration to her.
They have an individual style that she wants to promote.

I guess she wants to be one. I think it's a joke and a very lame act. She just makes herself look stupid. She used to have such great style.
