This is VERY simple and has worked for alot of people that I have recommended it to. I do this at work as I work in law and my brain gets soooo tired. Get a GREEN piece of paper and keep it with you when you are studying. When you get tired take the green piece of paper, hold it about 6-8 inches from you face and stare at it for about ten seconds. The color green resets the brain and restarts you thinking process. Will refresh you and if you do it imbetween studying subjects it will help your brain to "start over" and remember. Also tends to refresh you from being as tired. Hope this helps. Many people on here under this category have used this AND IT WORKS. Good luck and let me know. Alda (if you do not have a green piece of paper, find something green in your home and try it just to prove it) Take care.

Mnemonics.
INTRODUCTION
Mnemonics (pronounced "ne-mon'-ics") is the art of assisting the memory by using a system of artificial aids - rhymes, rules, phrases, diagrams, acronyms and other devices - all to help in the recall of names, dates, facts and figures.

Basic mnemonics
These mnemonics can be applied immediately, although it certainly pays off to practice them first. All of these mnemonics are based on elaboration and association, which why we start out with these. Elaboration adds more meaning to a word, while association makes sure that two words are thoroughly linked together in memory.
