Not a text message. You mean on a cell phone? The only one I ever got was from a campaign for senate and I knew that was coming. I don't find them of much use.

I have dialed the wrong number before, realized I did, and hang up before they answer only to have them call me back and ask "did you call me just now?"

To which I responded politely that I dialed wrong. That probably where your message comes from.

I have had people leave me messages thinking they actually got the right person even after hearing my name. I always call back and nicely tell them they goofed. I am sure you would appreciated it if they did the same for you to avoid confusion with your friends.

Yes and yes My daughter and i are both glad i responded also it was her boyfriend at the time trying to hit on me she'd borrowed my mobile to text him once..He thought his luck was in because he thought it was another girl.. My daughter dumped him from a great height

i have but thought it could be an elabroate con to make you 'chat' on a 'chat'line for £2.00 a text so quit the conversation.better to be safe than sorry.
