Deep Question you ask and i'm somewhat intrigued as to what made you say this statement? i'm struggling to answer something i would love to!! After some thought my only reply is the survival instinct built into the brain, a kind of self preservation thing which may make you say the above?? good question though, i like depth in a question.

I don't allways feel that it is good, but most of the time I do - these days at least. I think I am 'programmed' to exist (or survive), which tends to give me the ability to exist (survive). Feeling that living is generally better or more 'positive' than not living helps me stay alive.
Is this odd?

Beyond the pain our mind perceived there is good for those who can believe. Believe beyond the pain is hope. It is only through the life and words of those who have gone beyond the perceived pain who can know for sure there is a goodness in life and they can know this without loosing their flesh. that is the most difficult to understand but not impossible to achieve.

This sounds like the rhetoric of the so-called elite. After all they wouldn't want us lesser mortals to cast scorn on their policies of greed and corruption. Life could be worse, but for the vast majority it could be A LOT BETTER.

There are two options ..... either you gracefully and truthfully admit that after all life is worth it or commit suicide. Therefore all those who are alive are so because they find life worth it after all, otherwise who would have stopped them from ending it? We would be lying if we said life was not worth it. Just the truth... no programming by any nature, society or superpower.

Because us Brits are supposed to have a stiff upper lip & not complain about life. Besides, with a government like ours, is there really any point complaining.....?

as long as you are alive, you have opportunities in this life, which is good,,,,,, and all and all, there is alot of "good" in life and being alive, and finally,, we are a very comparision species, so compared to the alternative, life is good

Any religion or ideology in general that is against life, perishes.
The ideology with the most survivors is passed on.
