First you have to insert the lyrics into your file first.
It can be done by Right-clicking the music file inside your media player library then select Advanced Tag Editor. Click Lyrics on the tab above, then click Add. Insert the lyrics in the given text box then click OK.
After that, you have to enable Windows Media Player (WMP) to view subtitles. This can be done by Right-clicking the WMP icon on the top left corner. Select Play > Lyrics, Captions, and Subtitles, then Choose On if available.
The lyrics should be shown at the bottom of the screen when you play the song in Now Playing tab.

dunno. i don't use wmp for music only for movies and videos
