Filipinos are competitive globally. We are at parr to graduates of other countries. Filipinos are hard working & they will do anything for their families.
Education is important for every Filipino. It is a wealth that cant be stolen by anybody. Parents will do anything just to support their children until they graduate from college.
Filipino doctors are into nursing course. They are already stable here in the Philippines. What they want is to save the next generation. They want to bring not only their children but also grandchildren in the USA for a better future. Filipinos arent compensated well here in our country. We have the resources but our government is corrupt.
Filipino nurses are in the USA, London, Ireland, Singapore, Middle East and any country that will make them earn more & support their family.
Filipino pharmacists are also in the USA, Canada & Australia. In the Philippines they are regarded only as salesgirl. In other countries they counsel their patients & doctors even consult them for drug interactions.
Filipino teachers are only in the USA, mostly in Texas. Even our pilots are now going out of the country.
If the goverment wont do something about this, then there will be a brain drain in our country. They should increase the salaries of the health workers in the country such as doctors, nurses, midwives & teachers.

because Filipinos have special skills needed by different countries in the world. The world doesn't seem to move without Filipinos and you can't avoid us...
For some reasons, well, the Philippines has 90 million of people and the country cannot employ the big number of adults so the others have to go abroad and it's a good news that Filipinos have certain skills needed in a certain industry especially the ability of a Filipino to use the English language.

Because some of us wanted to migrate for a reason just like how other foreigners leave their country to work or live in another country.
Most countries need our help for the skills that their people lack.... be it professional or blue collared jobs. We may be poor but we are a pool of talents. I am currently working in a very rich country full of Filipinos. Even though their population is enough to cover all the needed jobs, they still need Filipinos.. why? Because a job that can be accomplished by 1 one hard working expat with just enough common sense will be divided to three of their locals once your leave your job. Plus teaching them would make you become like a broken record everyday... today they will say "yeah I got it" the next day they don't know what to do again....

My friend, that is indeed very true. Everywhere in the world you go, there is a Filipino. And I hope you are not complaining. :-)
I guess, too many of my fellowmen want out of their own country. To them, there is too much poverty and misery here in the Philippines. They simply want to escape from it all.
I think that's just one of the reasons why there are too many Filipinos out there all over the globe.

Filipinos loves to travel and we can adopted easily. And communication to different people is not a problem for us because most Pilipinos spoke English. And many reason that we go out from our country because of jobs or careers. And one of the culture and value that we had as a true Pilipino is.... union and value of family. Too many graduates but too few jobs so many of us look and find job outside our country. We want to give and support each of our family and the only way is to be far.....because in our own country to many competence and not enough jobs for everybody.

Because one of the Philippines' most extensive "exports" is its labor force. A lot of Filipinos work abroad. A lot also migrate for a better job.

theres only about 110 million of them all in all out of 7.5 billion people in the world, proportionally wise i don't consider that many, now the chinese at 1.4 billion and the indians at 1.3 billion now thats many.
