Oh my goodness yes, it is bad. Feeling nauseous is normal when your in your 8TH week. It will most likely go away within the next 3-4 weeks. I am in my 18TH week and I went through the nausea and vomiting really bad and it went away around 12 weeks. Before you get out of bed eat some crackers or some ginger snaps and instead of eating 3 meals a day eat like 6 small ones. I seemed to feel better if I ate a bit here and there. You can hurt your esophagus and by making yourself vomit is just a bad and wrong thing to do. Tell your Dr. what your doing and see wha the has to say? I guarantee he will tell you to stop it immediately.

You're going to feel nauseas. As a matter of fact, the more you puke, the more nauseas you will feel. You will only feel this way, though, for a few more weeks, most likely.
In the meantime, talk to your OB about Zofran. It's expensive, but if you have insurance, it will probably cover it. I took it this time, and I haven't puked once, and I'm 14 weeks. :)

I would not think inducing vomiting would be good!! I had horrible nausea, and unfortunately, nothing really helped. Gatorade or Powerade helped a little.

Vomiting is bad for the baby if you are vomiting alot, try to just cure the nausea first, what worked for me was eating original pringles or any other salty chip and drinking lemonade, i know it sounds weird but i swear by it that it works. Try to wipe most of the salt of because to much salt is bad to!!!!

Vomiting is never good.
Try ginger ale (or ginger tea) - my wife says it helps relieve nausea.

i had morning sickness all day and all night until i was 22 weeks and i always felt better after throwing up but you should try asking your doctor for medicine to make your nausea go away or at least so you dont feel sick ALL the time.. good luck!

Anything that puts a strain on your body unnecessarily can't be good! Otherwise doctors would prescribe it to the millions of women who suffer from morning sickness. So I wouldn't do it; try other methods like saltines or even a little lemon juice to try to relieve a sore stomach.
