Dan Patrick Show on Monday, and apparently he had some strange things to say about Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, seemingly claiming that he had some slave blood in him, or something. The Big Lead has the pseudo-transcript:
Irvin comes back with, "No, that's not the only way ... but it's certainly one way ... [maybe his] great, great, great, great Grandma pulled one of them studs up outta the barn [and said] 'come here for a second' ... back in the day ...(more sinister laughter)"

Michael Irvin declared that blacks were biologically faster than whites and more athletic by stating that the athletic Tony Romo must have some part black in him. It is strange because Romo only ran a 4.9 forty. This is one of the most misunderstood stereotypes in sports;it is probably the most misunderstood stereotype in all of sports.
Blacks, on average, are not faster than whites. Most of the world's fastest people are of West African/Bantu descent(this includes nearly all African Americans). However, whites and non-West Africans, on average, possess greater throwing ability, endurance, and upper-body strength. There are lots and lots of exceptions to both of these rules(Tim Dwight, Jeremy Wariner, and Eric Crouch for whites and Bob Gibson, Dontrelle Willis, and Warren Moon for West Africans). There are also countless whites that cannot throw well(me) and countless African Americans who cannot run fast(Tony Clark.)
Irvin should be fired or required to make an on air apology, on Sportscenter(not the Dan Patrick show) for perpetuating this stereotype and discouraging participation in sports.

Some guys love to be the center of attention and to sell themselves through controversy. He made a calculated decision to make racist comments knowing that he probably get fired for it.
If Rush Limbaugh got pressured out of his job for saying that people want to see a black quarterback succeed (just because he is black) then Irvin should be forced out for saying Romo is only successful because he has African American blood in his veins.
Irvin should be apologizing.

Got to understand that Irvin is a crackhead and is still not responsible for his mental unreasoning. I for one think he should not even be on any sports analysis program let alone a national broadcasted one. I don't believe he deserves to be there at all. As for Romo, u keep on going and prove all these non-believers what u are and where u are going. GO COWBOYS!

Irvin was probably sniffing crack. This guys is high all the time. I don't know why he is still on TV. He is a criminal and a bad person. No one should ever take him seriously or listen to him. He is the only guy who could snort crack on TV and get a raise.

Irvin suggested that Romo's mobility is due to his great, great, great, great, great grandmother having sex with a slave.
If Merrill Hoge had said that Byron Leftwich's lack of mobility was due to his great, great, great, great, great grandmother %$#@ing a slave master, how fast do you think he would have been fired?
Tiki Barber was right, he is an idiot.
