Again? Oh, that's right. Yankees fans only recognize Yankees wins. The seven teams to win the World Series since the Yankees don't count.

It's been a while since they have won now, but I think they are on the right track. Has anyone noticed that with all the ridiculous money being thrown around that the Yankees haven't been involved with any of that? They are going about it the right way. They are looking for a decent first baseman who can fit in, and are not the ones who threw $51 million at D-Mat just to talk to him. Now that Cashman is in total control (if Steinbrenner were, Torre would be gone), he will build the team the way it was in the '90s, with a solid core built around the farm system.

YES, the Yankees have not won in the 20th century. Of course you could say that about a lot of other teams too.

Someday. But next season could be a real challenge as the pitching staff seems to be getting a little too old and it seems the vaunted batting lineup is not what is was supposed to be. Anyway, anything bad that happens to the Yankees is good for me.

Probably not. But soon, with Cashman taking over, the Yankees will begin heading in the right direction. (Sox Fan..)

I am just waiting for Steinbrenner to get the hell out. Then the Yankees are done for.

Oh, didn't Steinbrenner guarantee the Yankees would win the World Series in 2006, and 2005? Maybe he'll guarantee a victory for 2007, and then you will have the answer to your question.

Again?
That's too funny.

Seeing as how the yankees haven't won a world series in the 21st century (which started on January 01, 2001---NOT 2000!)

So the answer is

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I don't think so. This happens to all the famous teams that think that they have it all. Good playes, lots of money, a good manager bla bla bla. For another example see real madrid in soccer, manchester united, red sox , lakers. Thry eill not win again, is not that im am being negative but they wont win again =)
