Bar...means pressure. Pressure is simply a force divided by the area on which the force is applied.
So, on a weather map, we find something called an isobar. Iso means same and bar still means pressure; so isobar means same pressure. In fact, on a weather map, an isobar is represented as an often wiggly line. The line is where the barometric value is the same.
In bar...o...metric (where the "o" is thrown in for ease of pronunciation), we have pressure (bar) measure (metric). So a barometric is no more or less than some measure of pressure...or some measure of force per area. On a weather map, we will see a single isobar line for some barometric value (like 760 mm-Hg). Millimeters height of mercury (Hg) in a glass tube is one metric for measuring. atmospheric pressure.
Gas pressures in a liquid are often referred to as barometric pressures. For example, oxygen pressure in blood is a barometric pressure. Of course, since bar already means pressure, calling it barometric "pressure" is redundant.

Barometric Pressure is a measure of the weight of the atmosphere above. The Planets weather is very dependant on what the pressure is. As stated above, When there is High Pressure, (Noted by a Blue H on a US Weather map) The conditions for that specific area are clear and sunny (usually) When there is an area of Low Pressure, (Noted by a Red L on a US Weather map) The area within the low pressure is usually stormy.
Isobars which indicate which levels of pressure are over a specific area are spaced further appart when there is high pressure present and closer when low pressure is seen.
Tight isobars on a weather map indicate very strong winds are present in the area.

barometric pressure is a measure of the atmospheric pressure. If it's low, you cna look for stormy wweather, if it's high, clear sunny days. Measured in millibars or inches of water.

baromatic measures measure the pressure of air,to see if it is going to rain,a leech is a 'barometer'.put it in a transparent cup and seal the top with cloth. If the leech is at the bottem,it is a sunny day,if it climbs to the top,be umbrellared.
