Unless you actually enter a lottery or sweepstakes, you cannot win. I'm positive this is a scam. Be very careful. If you decide to contact someone in the letter, do NOT tell them any information about you, such as bank account number, etc. If they ask for money from you, you will definitely know it is a scam. Better to just ignore the whole thing or ask the police about it. Good luck and take care.

Nottinghamshire and Edssexs are two completely different counties for a start. you can't a lottery without enering for 2nd.
3rd, I thought everyone new these were scams, not even my grandma would get caugt out. Are you really that greedy.
try phoning the company

AND there are glaring spelling mistakes and factual errors.
the 'United Kingdom Authority government'? what's that when it is at home. we have a regulatory body for gambling but the Inland revenue would be the only ones interested in taking some of that ficticious money from you

Hi Rod nice name by the way,
almost certainly a scam don't give any of your details no matter how tempted you may be. I haven't seen this one in particular but there are a lot of them out there anything that's asks for your details like this is very dodgy if you haven't entered for a particular draw or similar just delete it as soon as it arrives. Sounds to good to be true probably is old saying but a sound one.

It's a scam, stay away from it.
They ask for your banking info, then when you give it to them they will withdraw all your money out.
You will have to close the account and open a new one it put a stop to it. Like the ones where they say they need reps here to cash money orders and the like, they will send you counterfeit money orders. Then ask you to Western Union all but 10% to them

1.) Union cannot be traced.
2.) You get the cops knocking on your door for passing counterfeit items.

There is also one who "runs" an art studio, will hear about millions in a bank and they have to send it here then back to them. Watch anything that comes from Africa, 99% are scams to drain your money. Call the local FBI, they will also answer questions like this.

I receive regulary something like that - just give them your credit card number and see your account goint the Titanic way -
I have (in total) won with them millions of Euros, where did they get my "winning number" linked to my e-mail address ? Then Nigirians officials wanted to share with me millions of $ from oil revenue, and only out of goodnes of theirs hearts, not with their relatives living abroad but with a total stranger - I wasn't born yesterday !!!
If you give these peoples the details they request - don't cry when you will be plucked like a dead chicken -

this is a fake. sounds too good, it is!! they will ask you to pay money to secure the reward and that is bad.
providing all those details means they can easily get access to bank info etc......thus on th ephone can imitate you
