i feel that sis can take the info and use it properly when time is right-was i right to do this? or am i just making a mess- please let me know soon----the husband has left her now for 5 days-i have kept this info to myself for either 2 or three years

my nieces husband is, in my opinion having an affair with another of my nieces. i told the sister of the wife being hurt-i have kept this inside for 2 or three years-for fear of creating a huge rift-he left 5 days ago-it has come to a head-was i correct in telling her sister-i trust her- she is level-headed and will use the info properly, i believe-the sister said she will say nothing now-she doesn't believe-but she will keep her eyes open. my husband-who is very respected in the family thought i was insane 2 or 3 years ago when i told him-however after watching them at a family function, told me that he didnt think i was insane anymore-was i right to tell her yesterday-i do not have ill intentions-i want her to be armed with proper info-but its info i cannot prove-i just feel it it very strongly. it is obvious to me when i watch them-they sneak off -they whisper -they flirt openly-for years now. the wife just brought home newborn-hubby left the day she came home from hospital

You leave many questions. What didn't you tell sister? who's sister. What information. What secret have you been keeping for three years? These are all major whole that need to be filled before we can accurately answer your question. When you write you are an artist painting a picture. You need to paint the picture completely. I don't think it was your place to open your mouth and say anything.And it could one day come back to haunt you.One day she is going to hate you because you knew for years and never said a word until now.It's going to look like you helped break them up.And may very well be the case.
