Yes, attempted suicide should be punishable by death. Then all problems would be solved.

i don't understand approximately international mandates, and that i'm particular you meant to ask no count if or not somebody who has unsucessfully tried suicide and punishment so because it somewhat is the place i'm going to concentration. i'm a disaster/hostage negotiator in a mid-length metropolitan area and as a effect of that place have had the pleasing probability to spend quite some time reading psychological behaviors etc the two with the aid of on-the-interest coaching and with the aid of seminars/instructions that I even have attended. each and each individual who's tried suicide (alongside with people who've been helpful) substitute into/is in choose of a few style of counseling. I even have had the exhilaration of being waiting to communicate some human beings out of taking their very own life and discover it pleasing the two professionally and in my opinion. with the intention to respond to your question, no there could be no punishment yet particularly mandated psychological counseling and/or mediation of a few style. We bypass with committment to a scientific care facility the technique for that's started with the aid of the officer on scene. we've got here across this to be an effectual device in the two keeping and serving the known public

when someone attempts suicide it is an act of mental illness. They need to be helped. It is cruel to punish people for such a thing. Also, you can argue that your life belongs to you and no one else, and you have the right to end it.

I take it you do mean an unsuccessful attempt? There's not much point punishing those who sauced, is there?

Why should people not have the choice of what to do with their life? is a mountaineer, or a parachutist attempting suicide?

why shoud it be punishable?? Your life is your own, you can whatever you want with it. If you judge you can't go on living, then you end it. If you fail, then either you reconsider your need to die, either you try again. I hate it when people try to stop others from comitting suicide and fuss about it.

No it should not be punishable? If we are allowed to consciously kill ourselves slowly with Cigarettes eg why should it be wrong if we choose to kill ourselves more efficiently with eg a quick clean gunshot to the head, or with sleeping pills. Furthermore how do you punish a dead person??

Pointless question, since anyone who commits suicide is dead and can't be punished. Besides that, it's up to each country to make their own laws.

Yes I agree! Bring them back from the dead and punish them! How about free parking for the blind?

Murder, Suicide, and Illicit Gains Prohibited

[4:29] O you who believe, do not consume each others' properties illicitly - only mutually acceptable transactions are permitted. You shall not kill yourselves. GOD is Merciful towards you.

[4:30] Anyone who commits these transgressions, maliciously and deliberately, we will condemn him to Hell. This is easy for GOD to do.

[4:31] If you refrain from committing the gross sins that are prohibited for you, we will remit your sins, and admit you an honorable admittance.

Who are you going to punish? The person is DEAD.

What a ridiculous statement.
