it's maybe because they don't chat to find real friends or whatever. they live on illusions and that's what they are left with eventually. chatting on the net is nice as long as people are honest with each other, that's my opinion. if we all tried to be honest it would probably work much better but some people hide behind and feel protected by the screen. if we lie to each other then what's the use of sites where we can find friends?- cause friendship must be based on honesty and respect.

People chat 4 just a time pass n 4 fun. There4 may be they don't feel need 2 tell their identity.

Becoz they just dont believe in themselves,Ppl who lie shud think there lie last for some moments only afterall truth will be revealed someday or the other.Be urself if u want respect and love from others.

they lie becoz today thr is lot of things r going in the name of friendship and people want to avoid tht and just want to hav fun or pass time thtsy and they think tht if they will tell everything to the person they will not like to chat with him or her and sometimes people does not hav confidence on another person to whom he or she thinks tht they will play with their feelings and can even cheated by someone to whom he does not know but think tht they r their friends.thtsy.

Because they don't like who they are and are ashamed of it. Problem with lying is that if you really did meet someone special you've fixed it so you can't ever meet them because you misrepresented yourself.
