Yes, but it is almost totally enclosed. The only natural access to the ocean is through the Straits of Gibraltar.
So the tidal variation is lower than most other seas.

Yes, all bodies of water are tidal. In fact, even the Earth's crust is Tidal. The great lakes experience tides. Tides affect everything on the surface of the Earth, though some things more dramatically than others.
Tides are caused by the moon and the sun. As the Earth and moon orbit around each other, and as the earth revolves around the sun, each of these bodies pulls on the earth. This pulling is easiest to see when the surface of the earth can move freely, like the ocean. However, landmasses flex under tidal forces as well, and this strains the earth's crust. This is less noticable though because the crust is more rigid than the oceans.
So Yes, the Mediteranean does have tides, and not just because it is connected to the ocean. It has tides because everything on earth experiences tides.
So why don't I see mud puddles with tides? Scale. The great lakes and the Mediteranean sea are smaller than the ocean, so the tidal movement is smaller.

Sure is. In fact tides affect every bit of the Earth's surface, solid as well as liquid. Tides are the effect of a difference in strength of gravitational attraction. Speaking of tides caused by our moon, it has a stronger attraction on the side of the earth facing it than the side opposite. So the near side "bulges" toward the moon and the far side "lags behind" the rest of the earth.
