I want to know a site where i can make a spell, steps by steps, for free though!

Yes. Decide which items you need for the spell. For example... what herbs do you want to use? And how do you want to use them? Decide which colors (each color has meaning) you want for the spell. Then you need to decide what you want to say during the spell. Which gods do you want to call on for their help? What spirits are you asking for aid?

Then perform it.

I doubt you'll find a web site to tell you how to do it. Most witches are reluctant to do that because it could easily be abused.

It's much preferred that you do the research and then decide exactly how you want to do it by yourself rather than relying on what someone else tells you. It gives your spell more power and likelihood of success.

Remember that a spell is a tool used to focus your will on your goal. Whatever helps put you into a frame of mind where that's happening is what's right for you. Be creative, but use things that have meaning to you, in your choices. Symbolism is the key, a spell is a way to induce a trance state, where you are communicating with your subconscious mind and with the universe on a larger scale than normal perception usually allows.

The key is to build up the energy and release it towards your goal, out into the universe, so that it can manifest. Be careful how you phrase your request, as contingences and intent are very important, and can sometimes boomerang back in unexpected ways.

Great question!

What matters most in a spell is your intention, your focus, and your belief. If you know exactly what you want, are immensely focused on it, and you believe that your method to achieve it will work (rather than being skeptical), then it will indeed work the best it possibly can.

For some people, they have much more belief in the prowess, skill, and knowledge of others, so their spells work better if they are made by someone else. But if you are confident in yourself and your own powers and skill, then there is no spell that anyone could give you that would trump one you made yourself. Not a single one. What you give to that spell by making it personal, using your mental energy to create it and give it life, cannot be gotten anywhere else.

You sound like you want a specific site, but I really don't have one; I haven't been trolling around the web for spell stuff in a long time. But here are some general guidelines that I hope will help:

1) Remember not to put a lot of stock into herbs, plants, animals, colors, and all that stuff. A lot of 'assemble-your-own-spells' guides will give you a list of these and their corresponding 'meanings' or energies to help you choose what to use, but those are very basic. If you are doing, for example, a spell to bring prosperity, they might tell you to use Cinquefoil or basil or something similar. But let's say that as a kid, your mom always used to keep peppermints in her change purse- the allowance she shelled out smelled like peppermint- for you, that scent is the essence of money in your mind. Your spell would work a hundred times better using a mint leaf instead of the traditional 'prosperity herbs' because you bring that association to it. Same with your feelings about colors and so on. That's a wonderful way to personalize a spell.

2) Remember to do things your own way. If you always feel a little weird or outright ridiculous doing such things as raising magic circles or invoking your chosen deities/summoning energies, according to someone else's way of doing it, then DON'T do it! If you feel stiff or awkward using stilted elegant language like 'So mote it be', then for Goddess' sake, say 'And that's the way it is.' or something like that. When you're comfortable in what you do, be it an elaborate space-cleansing ritual or a mere closing of your eyes and mentally banishing negative energy from an area, you're likely to be fifty times more efficient, because you're putting YOU into it, and not somebody else's version of how things should go.

3) Be creative! I'm always delighted to hear of people's personal spells they come up with because they continuously amaze me. Dolls/effigies, charms, burning/burying/letting fly/setting out to sea, writing down/speaking/singing, sleeping on top of/under, cooking/ingesting, etc., etc. are all basic 'modes' of spellcraft, but you're certainly not limited to it! Everything you do has the ability to become a spell if you do it with intent- look around you and find actions that symbolize the realization of your goal, assemble the things that best evoke it in your mind, and set to it. When you know why you bring certain things together and do what you do with them, you understand your spell much better and the energy you send out is much more specific, bringing back the best possible results. I mean, if you read some spell that tells you to bring prosperity by chanting 'Lakshmi' and sprinkling cinquefoil over your bed by the light of a green candle, it's not going to do much. Oh sure, it may sound mysterious and exotic, but you are not Indian- you do not know that Lakshmi is the goddess of prosperity, or if you do, only through reading about it. So much better to stick that aforementioned mint leaf into a little bag with a black pen (for, example, if red symbolizes being in debt to you) while you chant the familiar name 'Donald Trump' with the affluent ambiance of track lighting. Do you see? It's about what you can do, not the particular 'by-the-book' format of a spell.

Whatever you do, good luck on making some of your own spells!

If you are already practicing magick, then you know that spells can be altered and tailored to a specific need or occasion. Knowing what you intend to do, or need to do, and knowing what herbs, etc, to use, you can adjust, or re-create the spell as you see fit. The more you know, the longer you have been practicing your craft, the easier this becomes. I have created, or altered, or improved upon many spells. Write these down in your grimoire, of course, for future use, sharing, and posterity.

Have a wonderful weekend!

i don't know of a web site where you can learn, but i'm sure that there are some out there.

i think that the more personal the spell the better it works. i have only used one that i did not create myself, and that was given to me by my teacher.

in general spells usually rhyme, they have a reference to what ever deity that you choose, what it is you are trying to accomplish, and the belief that what you have done will come to pass.

if you use candles, oil, or herbs try to match them to your need. never try to coerce someone else (ie..make them love you, or do something that you want them to do). you never try to mess with someones free will.

pretty much just remember "do as you will as it harms none". everything that you send out to the universe comes back to you, so make sure that you are sending out good.

good luck on the path you've chosen
blessed be

Namon has pretty well summed it up. Check out what he's saying, and remember...that is the end goal of EVERY spell. Without doing that, you're just going through the motions and things aren't going to work.

It'll work just as well as any other.

In other words, it will have no effect.
