No, he is comedian getting heckled is part of the job. Comics like Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, and Rodney Dangerfield were legendary in destroying hecklers using their wit and skill. Also, if the hecklers were so bad and he couldn't take it he should have had security deal with them. In retrospect, if he had been clever and witty and used the "n" word he probably would have gotten away with it, but he just went into a rant and made himself look silly.

P.S. I agree with Laberta's answer that what is done is done, he should be still allowed to work. A mistake is just that, a mistake no one was killed or maimed.

Kramers use of the "n" word was not justified, but I don't have any sympathy for the hecklers either. Kramer could have given the hecklers a verbal beating without using the "n" word, and he probably would have received applause for it.

Racism is a mental disease. Personally, I think that man who plays "Kramer" is tense and edgy as an artist. He made those remarks during a stand-up comedy performance and some people were heckling him. Stand-up comedy is awfully stressful, and, hecklers have made many of the best comedians blow their cool. But, that's what separates the boys from the men, the situation commands the boy and the man commands the situation.

It is starting to come out that Kramer was heckled for over ten minutes. One of the things that was said to him was, "you aint funny **** a" then when kramer replied with a witty retort the heckler replied with "You don't know me **** a, Don't fuc k with this **** a".

It also is being reported that the black guys who were calling kramer **** a and threatening him were also threatening the people who opened up the show for Richards..

Real innocent victims....Huh??

"Kramer" didn't make those remarks. The actor who played him did.

He obviously felt they were justified at the time. It backfired on him. He apologized. Whether he was believed or not, it is over. The issue needs to be dropped and everyone move on.

No it wasn''t right, but i would like to know why we are not shown what the crowd said to him before his outburst, all we see is what he said. Were they making racist outbursts? If so, it is not justifiable but more understandable.

No. His profession is comedy and he could have handled the situation without resorting to racial slurs. He's a comic, for God's sake, he couldn't think of some funny one liners to defuse the situation.
